Description

The Zeitreise - Time Travel project focuses on the little-known historical photographers of the Salzkammergut and juxtaposes them with newly created comparative-interpretative photographic works by international artists.

Historical photographs of the Salzkammergut from private and public archives are made available to contemporary photographic artists. These comment on and interpret the classic photographs, thus creating a link between tradition and cliché and contemporary photographic art. This exhibition was shown in Grundlsee from May to August and can now be seen in an adapted form in the Mozart-Wohnhaus. Time Travel was expanded for the show in Salzburg with positions worth seeing.
