Description

The panel discussion focussing on the Salzkammergut region will take place after the film screening of the German documentary WEM GEHÖRT MEIN DORF? (director: Christoph Eder). The discussion event aims to provide a platform to shed light on the many facets of community life and the cultural characteristics of this unique region and at the same time place them in the context of current developments in Europe.

Panel guests: Christoph Eder (director); further guests will be announced in early September
Moderation: Franz Koppelstätter (afo architekturforum oberösterreich)

As part of the project “Let’s live together! Communities and Culture on Screen”, Kino Ebensee and Crossing Europe Filmfestival Linz are presenting six documentaries and one feature film from 19 to 21 September. The selected works provide an insight into the most diverse models of social and cultural coexistence. Partly located in rural areas and in the context of current social realities and developments, the programme invites the audience to immerse themselves in multifaceted stories of life in today’s Europe. Film talks and the panel discussion “Salzkammergut, let’s live together!” provide the opportunity for direct, on-site discussion.
