Description

The programme for "Aufbruch, Salzkammergut!" runs through the entire Capital of Culture region and is the last major event in the official title year of the European Capital of Culture. However, the last festival - not a finale - should not be seen as a conclusion, but rather dares to take a bold look into the future. The momentum of the impulse year should be carried forward. Our departure will take place in Laakirchen and Gmunden.

Networking and coming together in the Remise 1894 Stern & Hafferl

11 am – 1 pm Yvonne Brugger, Frederic Rzewski, “El Pueblo unido…” Var. 31 – 36, Brugger plays Thelonious Monk
4 pm Peter and the Wolf – Children’s Concert

We are looking forward to a joint finale to this Capital of Culture year, which also stands for a new beginning in the Salzkammergut and for the future of rural areas: culture is the new salt!
