Description

Wirtshaus Show #4 with Sophia Süßmilch and Erich Fenninger + live: The Ö1 radio play "The Wedding"

In the radio play “The Wedding”, which was voted “Ö1 Radio Play of the Year” in 2021 and repeated in summer 2023 as a “favourite radio play” of the Ö1 radio play jury, Marc Carnal (Willkommen Österreich, FM4) tells the chronicle of a disastrous evening in a highly entertaining way – and in couple rhymes throughout!
For the stage version, Michaela Bilgeri and Reinhold G. Moritz slip virtuously into dozens of roles, while author Marc Carnal plays the narrator.

No regulars’ table without a pub, no pub without a regulars’ table – both are an indispensable part of Austrian culture. That’s why it’s time to re-establish the regulars’ table and give it its rightful place.

Enter the world of the regulars’ table, which becomes a stage and welcomes two guests each from film, radio, television and everyday life. Conceived, produced and hosted by Kira Saskia Schinko, this show presents an entertaining mix of humorous conversations and cabaret. Stammtisch Reanmiation live!

Free admission: The event is free admission, but a seat reservation is required. (Drinks and food are not included.)

Erich Fenninger was born in Lower Austria in 1963 and is a social work scientist, long-standing director of Volkshilfe Österreich and a social expert on numerous committees. Fenninger is also Chairman of Sozialwirtschaft Österreich and a lecturer at a university of applied sciences. As an author, he is known for his books “Von Freiheit träumen. Das Flüchtlingsleben der Westsahauris” (2012), the non-fiction book “Ich bin, wer ich war. Living with dementia” and “voices for refugees”, the book about the large solidarity concert he initiated at Heldenplatz in Vienna in October 2015. He is currently focussing his attention on the introduction of the basic child protection system he developed in Austria.
