The internationally known and Vorchdorf-born photographer Elfie Semotan could be won for a portrait photo session of all 23 female mayors of the region European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024. The first art portraits were realized on March 16, 2023 in Bad Mitterndorf following the mayors’ meeting – further dates will follow. All 23 mayors are invited to participate. Completely in the sense of 23 for 24.
The mayors’ portraits will subsequently be shown as part of the exhibition gmunden.photo 2023 in the Stadtgarten Gmunden, curated by Lisa Ortner-Kreil from the Bank Austria Kunstforum Vienna, from July 1, 2023.
