How have democracy and human rights changed over the course of the 600 years of salt shipping on the Traun river? What values have been transported, lived and communicated on and alongside the river? The project, spans multiple generations and institutions. School students, folklore preservationists and retired people will work with the General Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations in a variety of ways. 10 thematic panels along the 5 km long loop trail at the Traunfall waterfall serve to the results of the thinking process visible and able to be experienced: from “human dignity” to “peace” and “freedom” to “social security”.
