*born 1958 in Linz, technical training and subsequent studies in electroacoustic music with Dieter Kaufmann in Vienna. His artistic work ranges between fixed media, performance, sound installation, theatre music, tape composition, literary settings, music for radio plays, hardware and software development. Collaboration, sound direction, live electronics and software development with numerous contemporary composers and artists, including Peter Ablinger, Bernhard Lang, Günther Rabl and others. Participation in festivals such as Wien Modern, Wiener Festwochen, Salzburger Festspiele, ORF musikprotokoll im steirischen herbst, Ultraschall Berlin, Klangspuren Schwaz, etc. He has been teaching at the Institute for Composition and Electroacoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 1985.
