(* 1991) She grew up in the village of Ružica in Bosnia and Herzegovina in a Roma community. 2014 Graduated with a BFA in Painting from the University of Banja Luka as the first Romni. 2018 Completed her MFA in Visual and Performing Arts in the USA at Syracuse University. In 2021 she was awarded the Rijksakademie Residency in Amsterdam. Founder of the organisation “Get the Heck To School”, which aims to empower young Roma experiencing social rejection and poverty worldwide.
