Norbert Artner lives and works as a visual artist, photographer and media artist in Linz. In his artistic work, he deals (for example in the photo series “Dark Glass”) with resistances in the relationship between the visual apparatus and the image or (in the series “Studios”) with questions of art production. Studied “Metal” at the University of Art in Linz. Teaching there since 1995. Work residencies, exhibitions and projects in Beijing Berlin Harbin Ekaterinburg Linz New York Rome Shanghai and Vienna.
