The Upper Austrian singer Kerstin Turnheim sings a broad repertoire in musical theatre and concerts, across genres and in chamber music ensembles and teaches singing at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Her artistic training includes vocal studies at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and with Helena Łazarska in Vienna, numerous masterclasses, as well as studies in flute, singing and music education. Training in Estill Voice Training 1 & 2.

Musical theatre engagements in Germany and Austria, including at the Landestheater Linz, the Graz Opera, the Salzburg Festival, the Theater an der Rott Eggenfelden and the Herbstagen Blindenmarkt with roles such as Dido in Dido and Aeneas (H. Purcell), the title roles in Carmen (G. Bizet) and in Die Großherzogin von Gerolstein (J. Offenbach), Mira in Terra Nova (UA M. Eggert), Disinganno in Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno (G.F. Händel), Witch and Mother in Hansel and Gretel (E. Humperdinck), Flora and Annina in La Traviata (G. Verdi), Métella in Pariser Leben (J. Offenbach), Isabella in Boccaccio, Baroness Freimann in Der Wildschütz (A. Lortzing) or Stéphano in Roméo et Juliette (Ch. Gounod). In 2012, Kerstin Turnheim appeared as Cilli in the world premiere of the operetta Cilli und der schwarze Graf (H. Miesbauer) in Scharnstein.
