Jari Genser (*1983 in Salzburg) had to study psychology to realise that he actually wanted to be an artist. He went on to study fine art and has (so far) never regretted it. In his artistic practice, he focuses on objects and the traces that we leave on them and that they leave in us. His workspace is often at the centre of his artistic interest. Exhibitions in Gmunden, Frankfurt, Paris, Tokyo, among others. Jari Genser lives and works in Vienna.
