Hanna Burkart (born in Vienna / A) completed her Master of Industrial Design and her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In 2016, Burkart gave up her permanent residence to live in the places she wants to engage with. She works conceptually and performatively. Her work includes photography, drawing, text, installation and sculpture. Hanna Burkart lives in unusual situations around the world, producing and presenting her work on location, such as Senegal, Japan, Brazil, New York and in various urban and rural areas of Europe.
