David Bröderbauer is a writer and biologist. After research stays in Costa Rica and China, he currently works at the Botanical Garden of the University of Vienna. His novels Wolfssteig (2019), Waltauchen (2020) and Die Halbe Welt (2023) are dedicated to nature in various ways. He is currently writing a volume on wasteland for Naturkunden, published by Matthes & Seitz Berlin. Among other things, the volume will shed light on wasteland, which will also occupy him during his stay in Bad Aussee.
