Christian Nuhsbaumer, born 1970 in Gmunden, studied architecture at the Vienna University of Technology and the University of Michigan (USA). Since 1998 self-employed in the field of architecture and design. Numerous collaborations and competition participations with juri troy architects, wup architektur, smartvoll architekten, clemens kirsch architektur, transparadiso, two in a box architekten, among others. 2011 departure classic funding for Velobase – innovative cycling infrastructure, together with Arch. Andreas Fox. Since 2012 teaching at the TU Vienna, 2019-2022 Univ.Ass. at the research area Housing and Design. Initiator and project manager of the “Hallstatt_Denkwerkstatt 2024”. Co-editor of the publication of the same name, together with Michael Obrist and Carola Stabauer.
