Barbara Rankl is an academic stone conservator and conducts research on objects from the past using interdisciplinary methods from the humanities, natural and social sciences. She is involved in various projects in cultural heritage preservation in Austria and abroad. Her field of work in the project Damals? represents a broad spectrum between object-based research and the examination of narratives from the Salzkammergut.
