Photographer, graphic designer and artist. Born in Russia in 1987, lives, studies and works in Linz, Austria.

Alisa Matern is an artist with a migrant background who incorporates her theatre and literary experiences into her photographic work and fights against the prejudices of humanity. Her works are always thought-provoking, tell fascinating stories and resemble immobile theatre.
