was born in Graz in 1980 and lives and works in Vienna, where he graduated from the University of Applied Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Vienna in 2004. He has had institutional solo exhibitions at the Bank Austria Kunstforum Vienna, the MAK Center for Art and Architecture (Los Angeles/USA), the Tiroler Künstler*schaft/Kunstpavillon (Innsbruck), the Strabag Kunstforum (Vienna), and the MAK – Museum of Applied Arts (Vienna), among others. He was recently awarded the prestigious Otto Mauer Prize in Vienna.
