Elza Grimm was born on 26.10.1985 in Bad Aussee, Stmk. After graduating from high school, he completed a bachelor’s degree in information design at the FH Joanneum in Graz. From the beginning of 2010 to the end of 2011, he worked as an editing and production assistant on numerous cinema and television documentaries for the Vienna-based Golden Girls Filmproduktion. From 2011 on, he independently produces short feature films, music videos and commercials under the label “Grimmbabies Filmproduktion”. His experimental short films, short feature films and music videos have screened at numerous film festivals worldwide. Besides film, music is a second great passion. In 2020, his debut album “Trash Figures” was released. For several years he has increasingly turned to audiovisual art creation. In 2021 he was elected chairman of the professional artists’ network Kulturvision Salzkammergut and since then has also acted in this position as a 5% shareholder representative in the Kulturhauptstadt Bad Ischl-Salzkammergut 2024 GmbH.
