History:
Styrian Barbara Gölles was born in Bad Radkersburg in 1982, grew up in Fürstenfeld and currently lives in Vienna. After studying fashion at the Vienna University of Applied Arts, Gölles worked for Alexander McQueen in London, among others. She has been designing sustainable swimwear for her own label “Margaret and Hermione” since 2015. She was already represented as a designer at the Perspectives Festival in 2021 and 2022.
Born in Innsbruck in 1974, fellow curator Thomas Kasebacher grew up in Tyrol. After studying in Innsbruck, Liverpool and Stockholm, he chose Vienna as his adopted home. His art moves between performance, installation and research. He is on the board of the Tyrolean Artists’ Association and has taught in Switzerland, Finland, Austria and the USA. Most recently, he presented “RAW” at the Wiener Festwochen and “Object Trouvé” at the Impulse Festival in Düsseldorf.
