Katarina Kochetova is a young jazz pianist, composer, singer and arranger, student of Mike Krstić in Belgrade, whom she now represents (due to his illness) with enthusiasm and professionalism. She studied in Belgrade, Vienna and Stockholm, has already received several awards and has just recorded her debut album with her trio (release date first half of 2024).
Ioan Minda’ s musical career includes engagements with symphony orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra “Banatul” from Timişoara, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, or the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien. In jazz, he has worked with Liviu Butoi, Nicolas Simion, Woody Schabata, Bumi Fian, Paul Gulda, Rick Condit, Eldad Tarmu, and James Singleton, among others.
Johnny Bota performs here with the instrument that established him in jazz, the double bass. However, he studied and taught violin and was a violinist in the symphony orchestra of the Philharmonic “Banatul” from Timisoara. He devoted himself with equal interest to rock and jazz music and gained a special place in Romanian musical life. In 2005, he founded the Romanian Jazz Faculty called “Richard Oschanitzky” at the University “Tibiscus” in Timișoara. Bota wrote several books on jazz.
