Born in Linz in 1997, Elias Lehner has been working as a theatre pedagogue/theatre facilitator at Landestheater Linz since 2019 and has been part of the team at Junges Theater since 2020.
He started acting when he was four years old and has since performed at the Dschungel Wien, the Theaterspektakel Wilhering, the Reiman Jugendbühne and the Theater Akzent Wien, among others. He was also active at the Landestheater Linz, first in the youth theatre clubs and later in smaller roles or as an extra.
After graduating from school, he continued to work at the theatre in various capacities and also completed training as an outdoor trainer. In 2017, he began his training as a theatre pedagogue (BuT) at the Institute of Applied Theatre in Vienna and during this time completed a directing internship at the Landestheater Linz with Karl Absenger’s production of Eine Nacht in Venedig, among other things. He also worked as a theatre pedagogical assistant at the Reiman Academy and as an assistant director to Claudia Bühlmann at Theater Akzent.
In addition to his work as a theatre mediator, Elias Lehner is working as a dramaturge and director in the 2022/2023 season.
