Studio Lucy.D was founded by designers Barbara Ambrosz and Karin Santorso, and in 2016 another studio was added in Steyr. Their work is about an open and clear approach to things. The renowned design studio creates furniture, lighting and accessories with unaffected directness and develops interiors, installations and concepts for industrial companies, manufacturers and brands. Lucy.D’s fundamental approach is to fathom the poetry in the everyday. This is the starting point for the development of inspiring as well as practical products. In doing so, they seek a balance between tradition and innovation, sense and sensuality, detail and ensemble. International prizes, sponsorships and exhibitions crown the studio’s success.
